One of three LOOONG overdue prizes for =silverglass19 for winning first place in my contest.
Featuring in my first piece of proper art is the lovely Greer
This scene was originally imagined one night after I had been thinking about the Chronicles of Narnia; the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The books, not the movies.
For me, movies take all the fun out of books. Once you watch a movie, it is damn near impossible to regain an image of a certain scene how you had imagined it compared to how it was portrayed in the movie.
This was for the scene where Mr Tumnus meets Lucy for the very first time. I just got thinking about the snow and the wood and the lamppost and how Tumnus is always described as having rather red skin. Then an image jumped into my head of a horse fighting through a snowstorm past trees when he suddenly spots a bright red ribbon lashing in the fierce wind, which probably fell out of Lucy's hair and got tangled upon a tree branch.
And thus Greer got into Narnia xD
The hoofprints were added at the last minute. My bad.
